Fiercely independent and self-reliant, the unease within her self and her impatience drives her to take control of her life, making choices and decisions without William out of both fear and love (a reoccurring theme), for she wants him to have the "close-knit family" (ep.309) he desires and she stands in the way of that ever happening.
